AT THIS TIME – PRIMARY FOCUS ON CCIM MATERIALS
At this time Cyndy Lavoie, our primary overseas representative, is in the midst of a one-year sabbatical from active overseas ministry. This sabbatical began in May 2018 and will continue until the end of April 2019. The purpose of this time is to rest and refresh personally, but then to also invest the time and effort necessary, behind the scenes, to the integral workings of CCIM.
Additional to CCIM Oversight, she is in process of completing a number of written works including:
1. CCIM College Teacher’s Manual – Module One – While we had a full Teacher’s Manual for the entire course we realize it needs to be fashioned individually for each Module. This is a tedious and technical work. Pray for good completion and the leading of our Spirit in the midst.
2. Restoring the Weave – How We Might Participate in the Way of God on Earth; this is a CCIM Manual slated for our global audience. This is in collaboration with a local artist; the results are becoming quite astounding! Look forward to future word about this work.
3. 40 Days – Walking in Spiritual Authority – We have completed our second run-through of 40 Days – How to Pray, and are now set to begin this next focus. This is a deep work, hard to put to words. Pray the Spirit’s great release of wisdom in the midst as Cyndy works to write this.

OUR OVERSEAS TEAMS – FOCUSSING ON TRANSLATION WORK
As Cyndy is at home for some months this has freed our overseas teams to focus on translation work of our CCIM College Course. This is currently being translated into Lugandan in Uganda, into Kiswahili in Kenya, and into Telagu in India.
This is a great thing in the Lord. While it would seem that work has come to a stand-still, we are actually in greater forward movement than ever before.
Please keep our translation teams in your prayers. We give all glory to the Lord in this.
LOOKING AHEAD – CCIM WEEKEND IN CANADA IN JANUARY
January 2019 is the time for our annual CCIM Prayer and Vision Forward Weekend on Mayne Island, British Columbia, Canada. This is primarily for gratitude and worship in addition to sharing the work to come. We have this weekend every year on Mayne.
If you are keen for the work of Capturing Courage International Ministries you are invited to join us. Be ready for a weekend of fellowship, prayer, and simple sharing and context of where we are at CCIM and where the Lord is leading us.

MINISTRY TRIPS TO COME IN LATTER-HALF OF 2019
We are committed to being in Zambia at the end of May 2019. We are well aware of the commitments we left hanging in Uganda, as Cyndy took on this year of rest. We are presently praying and discerning these places for the weeks of May, prior to heading to Zambia.
If you are one of these: Blasio (Mubende), Andrew (Bukwambe), James (Dokolo), Peter (Gulu) and Kennth (Karamojo), we will be in contact with you before the end of year 2018 regarding May 2019 with you.
To those of you waiting in: India, Pakistan, Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, Mozambique, and other countries, know we are always waiting on the Lord in prayer for direction and confirmations of timing of the Lord to be with you in your area.
Note, that while Cyndy’s sabbatical year ends in May 2019 we cannot be everywhere all at once, once freed to overseas ministry once more. It will take some time to re-establish the rhythm from country to country and place to place.
BIGGEST NEWS – CAPTURING COURAGE 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
Capturing Courage International Ministries is turning 10 Years old in January 2019. Wow! How did that time fly by. We will be celebrating this with a Gala in September 2019.
Watch for further news and date and invites. Plan to join us to celebrate all that the Lord has done and is continuing to do through this thing we call Capturing Courage International Ministries. We can barely take it all in! All praise and glory to the Lord!
