“Declare his glory among the nations, his marvellous works among all the peoples! For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the LORD made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength! Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts!” Psalm 96:3-8 ESV

We gather before the LORD. We gather to declare his mighty deeds among the nations. We gather to glorify our God, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. All majesty and honour and glory belong to God, creator of heaven and earth, redeemer of our lives, the beginning and the end.

For Those Yet to Believe:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” John 3:16-17

For Those Who Already Believe:

“if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

For All of Us:

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Jesus, in Matthew 11:28

We come together to declare the LORD to nations, to uphold nations before the LORD.

We need God. Some of us are tired of our sin. Some of us are tired of our religion and our never-ending effort. Individually we need the LORD. But as countries, corporately, we need the LORD. Oh, may God interrupt us! May God surprise us and may we bless his name together.

Holy Spirit has told us to begin, “Head to a country and start in. Then, to another country. And then, another.” This is a new way for us at Capturing Courage. We are glad to head forth as God directs.
